Cadets Player Development Academy (CPDA)

  • Formerly known as Extra Innings - Wappinger
  • Established in 2007, renamed in October 2020
  • Cadets Player Development Academy (CPDA) is a premier baseball and softball training center in Dutchess County, dedicated to fulfilling the needs of players of all ages and abilities
  • A membership-based state-of-the-art facility, CPDA offers 14,000 square feet of space, including four full-length cages and over 7,000 square feet of space dedicated to sports performance training all year long
  • CPDA offers the following all year round
    • Science-based pitching, hitting, and fielding programs
    • Strength & agility, speed, and visual training
    • An after school program that includes access to all of our programs and training
    • Travel team training packages
    • Rookie programs for beginner players
    • Cage rentals, including access to HitTrax, JUGS pitching machines, Hack Attack pitching machines, and the ALLSTAR Baseball Video Pitching Simulator
    • Individual lessons with professional instructors having college and professional baseball and softball experience

 

Cadets Baseball Academy (CBA)

  • Refers to anything involving the CPDA or Cadets travel teams
  • Established in 2014
  • Cadets travel teams carry the CBA name, and include different designations such as Gold and Arsenal, in addition to the team’s age group & season year
  • Ex: CBA Gold 13U 2021
