The 5 Star Metro NY/NJ travel baseball program is powered by the Cadets Player Development Academy. While we certainly love to win, our primary goal is not to chase tournament trophies.  We want to develop ballplayers and create a structured, disciplined and positive environment that allows our athletes to maximize their capabilities and prepare for future success in baseball.  We strive to develop confidence, mental toughness, and self-esteem as well as help players understand that their success is a direct result of their hard work.  We hope that they will cultivate lifelong friendships with their teammates and respect the game of baseball, coaches, teammates, umpires and opponents. 

Our Program Offers:

• Professional Coaches
• 11 Tournaments - 3 in the Fall (5-week season), 8 during the summer (June thru mid-August)
• PBR Private Organization Showcase
• College recruiting website (College Fit), all players will have a hub for all their recruiting needs. 5 Star Baseball (collegefitfinder.com)
• College recruiting seminars to discuss the process, including guiding the players on how to write e-mails and communicate with coaches. Discuss the roles the player, the parent and the organization play in this process.  Discuss College Fit player portal.
• 3 weeks of college coaches camps Nov-Dec. Each week we will have 4 colleges working with players on hitting and defense.
• Facility usage – players can use the facility anytime during the non-peak season and off-peak hours during the peak season. Runs from Sept 2023 through August 2024.
• 2-3 practices per week in-season, depending on team schedule.
• Opportunity to request invite to National events.

• Three off-season team get togethers for 2 hours between January – March to hit and discuss college recruiting
